About me
Hello and welcome!
My name is Sara Pourchot, a dedicated and highly trained Speech-Language Pathologist with over 22 years of experience serving adults in the state of Oregon.
My professional journey has included 14 years in outpatient care and 8 years in acute care, where I’ve developed a deep passion for helping individuals with acquired communication impairments—particularly those resulting from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
I have extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia (swallowing disorders), working with individuals affected by head and neck cancer, stroke, neurological disorders and aging. My approach is rooted in patient-centered care, compassion, clinical expertise, and a commitment to improving quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.
Outside of my clinical practice, I find joy in spending time with my husband and three amazing children in the beautiful outdoors of Southern Oregon—camping and playing on the river.
