Hello and welcome!
I’m Sara Pourchot, a dedicated and highly trained Speech-Language Pathologist with over 22 years of experience serving adults in the Rogue Valley.
My professional journey has included 14 years in outpatient care and 8 years in acute care, where I’ve developed a deep passion for helping individuals with acquired communication impairments—particularly those resulting from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and other neurodegenerative conditions.
I also have extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia (swallowing disorders), working with individuals affected by head and neck cancer, stroke, and general deconditioning.
My approach is rooted in compassion, clinical expertise, and a commitment to improving quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.
Outside of work, I find joy in the beautiful outdoors of Southern Oregon—camping, playing on the river, and supporting my three amazing children in scouts and athletics.
